Disappointed in the turn out quite a few regular s not been in a while. James won tonight., but we only had 11 least we've had for a while!
Lisa didn't make much which upsets me a lot, as it's what we do it for.

Derek what have we as Fund Raisers got to with Muck Slinging ?Whatever is said on this Forum , it shouldn't affect the Fundraising ,personally I never try to offend anybody , I know some find me irritating at times , but that's their problem .

I agree with Lynda though for some reason we are seeing our numbers shrink , maybe folk are getting fed up , I don't know , but it wont stop me trying to raise cash for the Club I love , as for last night , Congrats to James , my luck is terrible at the moment , if I backed a horse in a 2 horse race it would finish 3rd .

As Paul stated, no one has said you are mud slinging but one or two posters over the the last few months have not only aired their own opinions and feelings (consistently & persistently) but have aimed insults at those who don't have the same mind set as them along with ridiculing them .It seems like its a crime to support & believe in our club and those charged with day to day running and decision making for the survival and growth of our club. God forbid anyone should congratulate our BOM and not expect a snipe in one or two replies (personly i try and treat all people the way i want to be treated untill given a reason not to). By the way this is as you said in another thread an unofficial fans forum and we should be able to express our views good bad or indifferent but to try and make yourself look big by making others look small is very tiresome and i think what D was eluding too was that it can keep people away from this forum and so some events that are mentioned on here.

Why is everyone so touchy, is it because its season over almost ?

I agree with what you are saying , everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I respect anybodies ,I don't think it is Mud Slinging though , more like being Negative , which puzzles me when we as Leigh Fans have so much to look forward to , come the Play-offs and Next Season , we have a very Talented Coach , who assisted by a good Backroom Team , and a very Positive BOM ,who I have no doubt will give us a Squad of players next season to improve our Team .

With Lyndas help , i run the Poker Evenings , i couldn't manage without her , but what is said on this Forum has no effect on our recent Dwindling numbers , because very few of our Poker players are Leigh fans anyway , its just one of those things , personally ive NEVER been negative in my life , and will carry on raising Funds for the Club i Love .

Hey Charlie i don't think we have had as good a reason to "look forward" or be as optimistic as we have right here right now. We have a good coach, good ground, and some good people running and pushing our club forward in Business. It baffles me as to why some only seem to want to be negative (as you say). It looks like next season could be crucial in determining our near future so its imperative we can get as many paying people through the turnstiles to help finance the big push for superLEIGH . I would have expected the loudest voices to be bigging us up not nit picking, i even managed to get my Father in law down to the LSV a couple of times and he really enjoyed it ( he is in his 70s and had not seen live RL) and looks for the Leigh results (shame he reads the express

I hope as many people as possible try to get New Fans to come along , this season Charlie Jnrs girlfriends Dad has started to watch Leigh , and he really enjoys it now , I think its great when new fans feel this way , as you say , next season is very important to our Future and we must get as many fans through the Turnstiles as possible , ive been trying to get more folk interested all season , as I do with the Poker , everybody who posts on this Forum wants the same end , a Successful Leigh Centurions .

Well after last weeks poor attendance , im hoping for more people turning up to play tomorrow night , Tuesday 7.30pm at The Centurion , St Helens Road , we will soon be presenting the money raised over the past year to LISA , and need as much money as possible , im asking everyone , to come along and give it a go , even if you haven't attended before , its a good night , a chance to win a few Quid , and raise cash for the Club , you will be made most welcome by both Lynda and myself ,it would be nice if we can get it back to the days when we raised really good amounts .
