Can feel it, the tide has well and truly turned, the knockers can knock all they want but it's clear we are building something very special here for the whole community and town to get behind and own.

The RFL couldn't have re-opened the door at a better time.

Thanks to everyone who came tonight please come back Sunday and enjoy the O2 Fun Day and please bring your mates, sister, brother, dad, mother, auntie, uncle or anyone else you can the boys really do appreciate what you are doing. It's not a cliche you bring them home playing towards you when your so vocal and supportive gives them the 18th man.

There appears to be a feel good factor around the place right now. I definitely sense a wave of momentum building towards the club. Well done to all concerned.

As I said in a previous post we are a club on the up...

It's called momentum - that crucial ingredient that can be so elusive. All credit to the previous management but at the end of the day they were administrators who rarely showed a really burning passion and an ability to make the connection with the fans. The BOM seem to be doing that. And they are doing things that make sense and seem to be working...all in a relatively short space of time. The RFL changes have brought a light to the end of the tunnel as well - it may be switched off in the future of course but for now it is there and there is hope.

The fans are beginning to understand that it is basically up to them if they want Leigh to be a proud standalone club and they need to support them with their wallets AND their voices.

Exciting times!

I agree 100 % with Andy there is something special going on at the Centurions great feel good factor extra special bunch of players and coaching staff superb supporters and a fantastic BOD who are trying their upmost to move the club upwards & onwards ..

I'd encourage all fans to ditch the ideology for once and be a part of the good stuff that is happening. It's clear as crystal that the current board will sever the current relationship with Wigan as soon as it is economically feasible to do so - that is only right and prudent. The crazy thing is that we have as much Leigh team spirit now as we would have if everyone member of the team had been born in the Mick Martyn bar - there is nothing to fear folks!

Like I said get rid of the agreement at the end of the season no problem as they are only using the spencer kid which as infact virtually turned into a season long loan,don't agree with sneaking the other random strangers in the team like the failed union pie lad last night,fully understand the reason the other board signed up to it as the easy cheap option but was hoping the new board would be making encouraging noises about next year and scrap it.

JIC, I suppose me being 3,000 miles away from being able to attend a Leigh game makes me scratch my head when a fellow fan chooses to boycott - it doesn't seem fair somehow!

I hope Leigh replace London next year love the Leigh Salford Games.

The clubs in the top league are reintroducing their reserve sides next season so Twinning
is over at the end of the season.

Good. I hated it's introduction.

Leigh have taken a few Wigan lads on DC but that is all and primarily have played only Leigh contracted players this season and there is not much difference between that and taking players on loan as indeed some Superleague clubs have done.

Our club has stuck rigidly to accepting players under 23 years old and JC and JIC and other "principled" former fans must know that but no doubt will find another reason next season for their non attendance.

Time for us all to back our club and new BOM and I hope the dissenters come back sooner rather than later.

Now there you go again making things up we have stated why we have stopped make it go away and my party of 7 re appear next season,simply as that, cannot make it any clearer than that
