Does anybody know what dates the playoffs are pencilled in for this year? I've only got one days holiday left at work and need to use it wisely, if I find out what dates it was last year, do you think it will be the same ones this year?

It could be 1,2,3 or 4 games depending on success.

Yeah I understand that, if I just knew which weekends were going to be used, I could put them against my shift planner and see what my best options would be, its a bit early yet but I just need to get my holiday in ASAP really.

Last game of season is sept 1st, the playoffs start the week after and run every week upto the grand final so in theory sun 8th, 15th & 22nd with the final on the 29th. Depending on where u finish could play every week or have week 2 off.

1st-placed club v 4th-placed club (winner advances to Week 3, loser home in Week 2)
2nd-placed club v 3rd-placed club (winner advances to Week 3, loser home in Week 2)
Elimination play-offs
5th-placed club v 8th-placed club (winner away in Week 2, loser eliminated)
6th-placed club v 7th-placed club (winner away in Week 2, loser eliminated)

Preliminary semi-finals
Highest ranked Qualifying play-off losing club (1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th) v Lowest-ranked Elimination play-off winning club (5th, 6th, 7th or 8th) (winner away in Week 3, loser eliminated)
Lowest ranked Qualifying play-off losing club (1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th) v Highest-ranked Elimination play-off winning club (5th, 6th, 7th or 8th) (winner away in Week 3, loser eliminated)

Don't forget that Premier Sports will be showing one match from each round, presumably on the preceding Thursday.

There's no guarantee that any of the games will be on Sunday anyway. If we're away to say Sheffield they might want to play Friday night or Saturday. I'm sure if we're at home it will be Sunday unless it's on TV.

Its like the good old days, and proof that there is not really much advantage in the 1-4 games.

Its also good to know that the 2 winning teams get home advantage too and not like the old NFP days of (your first and get home advantage all the time !).

Its imperative that we finish top 4.

Hope the club look into a ticket offer for the playoffs, our crowds (in fact all crowds) should go up, not down in the playoffs.
