On Thursday the 27th we have another opportunity to make the final when we entertain Batley Bulldogs at the LSV with a 7.30pm kick off. Batley will be starting this game as favourites but with your help we believe we can overcome this and reach the final.

On behalf of the players I am asking you to turn out in great numbers and shout the lads to victory, because a big, noisy crowd will really lift the team and could be critical to the final result

In order to play our part in attracting fans we will be reducing adult admission to £12 for sitting or standing and £3 for under 16's. So come on, get down to the LSV and shout the lads to a Final''

it seems things are improving all round as Charlie really enjoyed the Touchdown Club experience on Sunday .
My only criticism , was nobody came into the Boardroom selling Programmes , there must have been around 100 diners maybe more on Sunday , yet nobody came in to sell Programmes , I was a guest at the Batley game recently , and again nobody was selling programmes there , I even tried to get one from someone else but had no luck , this is my only criticism though .

I suspect there may have been a shortage of sellers on Sunday as the programmes only appeared in the West Stand at about half 2.

Charlie its far from being a critism its a great point, we need more constructive feedback on match day experience.

Match programmes are revenue we cant miss out on opportunities to sell our product.

Good to see a reduction in the ticket price, hopefully this will have a positive impact on that Thursday night !!

And yes I was right behind the sticks where Tom went in for his try awesome moment.

Hold that moment between now and next Thursday, tell everyone you know - or will listen - how great it felt, then get them down next week so that we can try and re-create it this July.

Andy , I thoroughly enjoyed the Touchdown Club experience on Sunday , and although Charlie Jnr paid I thought it was good value and recommend it to everybody , I was going to come over to say hello , but you looked busy with your guests , maybe next time .
Im glad you think my criticism about the Programmes was constructive , its just that im disabled and am not very mobile , but I feel the lost revenue on Programmes would be significant , with there being around 100 diners in the Boardrooom , that day .

Other than that the food is very good , bar prices are reasonable now ,Alan Rowley is an excellent MoC ,good all round entertainment , personally I think the club is definitely getting the Corporate Experience right .

Matt it wasn't just the Haven game , I was a Guest at the recent Batley game and nobody came in the Boardroom that day either , luckily Charlie Jnr was a Guest in a Box , and saved me his programme from that game .

I was also there having the Fathers Day meal with my family, first time in the boardroom and would defo recommend it, especially if there is a speaker on as well.
Just need LSV to wipe all the bird poo off the seats behind the dug-outs, it was everywhere, so went on the old faithful plastic seats in the 2nd half

Should have said hello mate, im glad you enjoyed the day and we do honestly want the feed back and will strive to create the perfect match day experience going forward not just in corporate but all areas.

Allan Rowley is second to none as an MC to get that many diners in only a few weeks at he helm and to do the things our commercial team are doing demonstrates to LSV what we are about now.

No doubt we will meet soon look forward to it.

Am I right in saying it worked out at £12.00 for lasagne & chips ???

Depends how you look at it I suppose, yes the food was lasagne & chips with a selection of veg and tea and coffee served.

Match ticket is 18 quid so for 12 pounds extra you got a full afternoons entertainment from 1.00pm onwards including but nit limited to a quiz, guest speaker, first class MC, speech from the coach before the game and explanation of his team selection and also a few words from the clubs buisness manager.

Not to mention access to the main banqueting suite and post match speeches from the clubs interim chairman and post match comments from our coach.

All in all id say we delivered a reasonable product for 30.00 per head on the day but we strive to get better and will do so.

Well done to our new Board who seem to me doing the right things.

As I said my Son arranged it for a Fathers Day present , whatever it was , it was good value , what you have to remember , the Club is running a Business and must make a Profit , it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon , and as Andy said , you get an insight into what goes on behind the scenes , Listen to Paul R and his Pre,and Post match opinions .

All the guests are made very welcome , I always say what I feel , and can say this is value for Money , and the Carolis will definitely be doing it again , it was great to see a Packed Boardroom full of Diners , I had a chat with Mo ,sometimes we may have differences of opinions , but I can say he even speaks with sense at times .

Hi Charlie, I have to be sensible now don't forget.
The event wasn't run at a profit, but as a test for what is possible and to gauge what represents value. Fans have different expectations of their match day experience, its important we create a menu of options going forward that enable fans at all levels to walk away and say 'what a great day that was, can't wait to come back'. We will get some right and some wrong but we'll have a go
