Apparently there were 1411 at the LSV tonight

.........Wonder if they were counting everyone on the LSV complex because watching the game on PS that crowd was something else.

No way was there that many on - more like 411.

I was there and it did look like 1,400.

Why do you go to every Swinton Wolves game?

From my experience of watching our games there and with only the West stand open tonight I`ll disagree with you.

Well my view is why would they lie ?

Maybe Corporate was sold out and there might have been a lot in the Banqueting Suite.

West stand looked to have about 300 in it including the Wire fan I saw with the scarf on.

Was a good game though. Oh btw I watched it in the pub and would have gone but I am not in favour of ANY Championship club playing any DC players over the age limit of 23.

Off topic our under 20's lost 32 24 at York.

So 1100 in the banqueting.........impressive.

Maybe the missing 1100 were in the meeting of potential investors into Leigh...

(Come on we can dream can't we?)

Maybe there was only one serving beer and pies, so the queue was quite long..

As i posted on another thread days ago, corporate was a sell out, so, yeah , it was impressive!

Well, lets have a look at the positives for a moment, and not be bitchy about what was a decent crowd!

Premier covered it superbly, i thought Steve Mac was a good addition to the team.

Refcam was innovative


There seemed loads of kids there, who all looked to be following the action with interest

There were 22 passes and a kick in that final passage of play, if Haven had scored, it would have been the try of the year, no doubting that.

JJP's second try was unreal, him and "the Jukebox" will be great to watch as the centre pairing for PNG in t'world cup!

And poor old Whitehaven were still on the LSV car park when we arrived back from York at midnight, their bus had broken down.

Seems a tad of jealousy from one or two postings.

However I will appease a couple of you the crowd was in fact 1141, sadly we have a dyslexic announcer.

Not withstanding this fact for a Thursday evening and playing Whitehaven it was a great effort by the Swinton club, credit to the travelling fans as well who I believe paid £15 to include travel and entrance fee.

The game itself was a great advert for Championship rugby and well done to both sides.

Anyhow setting that aside......I hope your club pulls through it's current cash crisis.
Is the picture getting better,? it seemed there was light at the end of the tunnel listening to radio Manchester last night.

i enjoy watching Swinton games , and wouldnt hesitate in having Martin Ainscough back at Leigh , i always liked him , he played well at centre last night .

He did Charlie, I also thought David mills had one of his better games for us also.

Will Leigh be ok mate.?? Must be worrying times at the minute.

It was matey, but some on here are so biased, childish or just ignorant itsbeyond belief!

Watched the game on premier,did not look 1400 on,but it was a great advert for championship rugby,far better entertainment than superleague.The commentators are miles better than eddie and stevo,they bore me to death.

Ryan the crowd was misquoted I believe the attendance was 1141 not 1411, but for a Thursday night and considering the distance Whitehaven travel it was a great effort.

None of know what is Going to happen ,hopefully all will be revealed very soon , im a betting man , and would put a couple of shillings on Leigh being OK



, but as you say the times are worrying .

As for Swinton , i wish you good luck for the rest of the season , i have met a few of your fans at the LSV , and find them very friendly and knowledgable , even Spelly
