He spent five weeks in prison while at Cas for dangerous driving and then got done for being drunk and disorderly a month after signing for Hull. Going by his previous record, it will certainly be an interesting one for Rowley - not much up with his on-field pedigree given he's been in England and Great Britain squads in the past and has played 24 games in Super League for Hull FC this season.

Risky...or inspired? I'll trust Rowley's judgement on him as I'm sure he'll do his homework on his character etc. He played for Hull as recently as the Bradford game at the weekend so he can't be doing too much wrong if he's still around the first team squad. He's a loose forward now rather than when he played on the wing or at centre for Wigan.

Yeah I read that too and they do think highly of him. His talent is undoubted my worries are that will he think of himself too good for championship level; how he can handle being part time in a fitness aspect as he doesn't sound like a perfect pro; his wages - SL player could be on a big wage for someone who can go off the rails and also how this affects the young players coming through such as Hoppo and Rowe.

He is 31 and lives locally.

He seems a good player from reading the Hull forum.

Maybe he is thinking about his future after RL too.

If it's true and Paul has signed him, then regardless of what's gone on before he deserves a chance. A clean slate as far as I'm concerned.

In rowley we trust, one of our greats spent time inside, sir timmy, and he was a good un, we shall see what happens

Be an excellent signing, had major doubts when he signed, and after his initial let down and a couple of early injuries he has settled down and proved a very good forward, played both prop and backrow to a good standard, has a no nonsense approach, runs hard, makes good meters and has excellent defence I think all fans at Hull would keep him for another year, but think we have plans to use the salary cap on other areas.

Still could play SL IMO, but maybe he wants to go PT to open up other avenues.

Should you sign him I believe that you will get a fine player. I would be more than happy for him to stay @ Hull. He is a strong & solid player.Apart from from an incident prior to the start of the season [which was not related to rugby I believe that he has behaved well.

I would recommend him to your club but also I would be happy for him to remain @ Hull.

And I beLeighve that is a good thing. Ignoring the "He has to be a Leyther" school of thought, signing locally-based players must be good from the availability/training viewpoint.

On the flip side... remember Jason Ferris, Julian O'Neil?

He would be a good signing too. Our pack is certainly looking pretty formidable if thsese rumours are true and their adding to an already good pack.

However, would be surprised if Bracek did sign, he's on Super League level wages at Barrow!!

This is not true , Richard is a friend of mine , and i spoke to him today , he told me he doesnt know where he will be playing next season , but hasnt spoke with Leigh .
