Just an idea but it would be good if there was someway of showing clips of the 71 final on the big screen outside the stadium as fans arive, give the fans something to remember for those who were not born then.

Great idea, and it will form part of the atmosphere for a game where a place in the last four beckons.

We want people to have an enjoyable evening and importantly want to sample it again..

Put it on the screen INSIDE the stadium to remind Leeds fans of the great moment in history

A little dissapointed today.
Did some shopping at Morrisons and i was parked facing the big screen so i watched it for a few minutes and sadly there was not one mention of the leigh v leeds game on friday,that makes no sense to me.

Great stuff that fred,hope you don't mind as I posted it to facebook and if everyone on here does the same you never know it may bring in a handful more fans

I have the video cassette of the game bought it years ago may dig it out this week and watch it again



Brought back some great memories my dad who sadly is no longer with us had to decide who to take to wembley with him and he choose my uncle who was a few years older than me,use to rib him something rotten about it as he said well I will take you next time

and the years few by and now its still seems a pipe dream,great memories watching leigh with the family

Well I came out of Tesco`s today and knew the Leigh v Leeds game was on this friday, albeit without the aid of a screen!

I saw the screen today and saw the world cup advert. Saw the hacka! It looked really good. Would be awesome if we could show some Leigh footage. It's an outside company that controls the screen though and the LSV control the one inside

I think the outside company manages the screen for LSV, rather than controls it, which is a subtle but important difference.

The LSV decide what goes on it, but the outside company sorts it out.

I would imagine its probably a cost thing or no one with the time. I dream of winning enough money not to fund the club but be able to retire and help do the PR stuff.

Had message back from Melissa at LSV and she has forwarded on the request for footage of 1971 action to be played and this 'is now being actioned'.

Well done to all concerned on this.

All sorted DVD ammended and redone to fit tghe LSV system and will be there with the technician Wednesday, all it will need is for Michael to play the music over it and press the right buttons.
