Two game-changing efforts from McNally. First his shepherding out wide of Worrincy to force to run him in to touch was technically superb full back play - he forced the attackers to make a decision in a three-on-one situation and knew exactly how much space he had to use both in terms of towards the try line and towards the touchline. Didn't commit himself to the tackle, just used the space to his advantage until Worrincy had nowhere to go.

Secondly, his (perfectly legal) ball steal was awesome, a certain try saver regardless of it resulting in a pretty harsh penalty.

He's coming on week by week. Great to see.

His positional play was outstanding today, it was like he could read the minds of the kickers and put himself in exactly the right spot every time. And the way he managed to stop that break from turning into a try was brilliant. 3 on 1 situation and he judged it to perfection.

What really impresses me with Laithwaite aswell as his play is the way he celebrates and really seems to enjoy being in the team. And Greg is an absolutely blinder of a signing. Another lad who it looks like loves being here. Micheal Ostick came with a bad rap and I thought he went well yesterday again.
