We're the only pro sides to go in the 'amateurs' bag which means we were guaranteed to be drawn against a pro side.

For those looking to go for the weekend, I will speak to Mayfair Travel first thing in the morning to see if they can organise a trip as they have done for all previous games vs the Broncos/Skolars.

Cheers Matt - Having previously done all those mayfair trips, I was thinking of them as soon as the draw was made. IIRC they worked out about £58 back in 2007. Inclusive of travel, 1 night hotel & transfers. Superb value each one.

Just got off the phone to Mike at Mayfair and he's going to double check with the hotel in the morning but he doesn't envisage any problems in running a coach trip - would cost £69 per person (based on 2 sharing) for return coach travel, transfers to the game and hotel with breakfast. Not going to get owt cheaper than that!

Third year in a row we have been in that side of draw Featherstone two yr ago Rochdale last yr & now an easy tie against Batley

If LISA want to do a day trip then I'm sure people will use it Col but with all due respect there's no way they'd be able to organise an overnight stop at such short notice and certainly not at such a cheap price - Mayfair use the same hotel every other week so certainly have a bit of sway in that regard and hopefully will mean the trip should run without a problem.

Yeah we've been overlooked here, eh well , would have been nice to have been asked as Trafalgar have been really good with us , but its not use if not enough fans are interested

I will ask the coach company to price up a coach for the day only and one that drops off saturday and picks up sunday after match, people can sort out their own hotels

having been drawn as an "amateur" team we could have got a much tougher prospect than the Skolars (no offence to them) - being away down there is a pain but one would hope for a win and then the opportunity to beat Widnes or Wigan in the next round.

I'm just being sensible Lynda as asking Trafalgar to do two trips for the same people would cost a fortune. And where would you drop off in London bearing in mind people would be booking their hotels all over the place in that case? If you want to see that as 'overlooked' then be my guest but I'm just trying to let people know of by far the easiest and cheapest way of doing a weekender?

Yeah it's a split gate. Personally I'd save Wigan for the quarters and Leeds for the final.
