'latest news' though TBH not very latest this is similiar to the reply that I got a month or so ago, I would recommend that people send an e mail to them asking them to pursue the matter.

JUST AS AN ASIDE IN CASE ANYONE DOESN'T KNOW[
Anyone with a satelite dish and a fairly recent SKY receiver (or any freesat receiver) can access Premier sports just ring them up with your viewing card number to hand (it's printed on it) and of course some method of payment card and it SHOULD be easy (famous last words).
I'm hanging on a couple of months to see if it gets included on Virgin if it doesn't our Dave's getting it put on my old SKY receiver as he's the rich one in our house  |

We are up first on Premier 8th March, not sure if NRL starts before or after.. I think its 79.99 for the year and if you mention Leigh on subscription they will give the club £10 per customer.

I wouldn't hold out for Virgin as they got stung when Setanta went south and it's for all intents and purposes the same company. It's a shame but I wouldn't hold out, Virgin seem to be sticking to the party line whenever I've tried to bring it up; although never say never and all that.

Only a "freesat from sky" reciever can access premier sports,the Official Freesat recievers although allowing you to access other channels not on the "Freesat EPG" do not have a viewing card slot.
i have a Humax one and that does not have any card slots. |

you can keep virgin and use your sky box and subscribe through premier itself ask Fred how to do it .

Do many people with Virgin still have sky boxes? I'd hazard a guess the majority of cable viewers probably switched back in the Nynex or C&W days, Virgin bought a ready made customer base. I don't think many people will have changed from Sky 08+, they really bucked their ideas up on pricing points and value for money with services imo
