they're about as PUNK as Abba !!!

More a reggae band

Probably so, but reading their influences, they definately have a Ska element to them. Even some of their equipment is two-tone.

their previous band 'halfway to victory' were ok also.

I've been raving about these since I saw them supporting Dirty Revolution at Gullivers, Manchester earlier this year. Both their EP and their vinyl single have had rave reviews in Scootering magazine (By some scooter bloke originally from Leigh oddly enough....

)and are well worth getting to see. They seem to play a lot of gigs in Leigh funnily enough...

Definately not skapunk though. Undoubtedly ska, a lot of reggae in there too, and also bits of calypso too. A band you want to see after about four pints, just as your dancing shoes come on.

they're playing at the avenue this friday starting around 9pm
