Are the directors still resigning at the end of the season?

Hopefully it'll be sorted asap. Can Trevor/someone make an announcement stating that we are ok for next year? Are we? If so then..

Cashflow was said to be one issue, if there is someone to run the club for next year then they should get some cash in now - season ticket offers for early birds? Would like to see a £99.99 standing season ticket if paid on full by Sept/Oct - should get some much needed cash in

Also, i'd say that most of us are concerned that most of the squad could leave at the end of the season and alll the good work of this season could be lost. I'd hate to see players leaving because of the uncertainty etc - we all want to see a similar team next year - good rugby! Maybe if the above can be done then there could be a push for a 'squad fund'? (not sure if this is needed with LISA? did LISA objects get changed?)

Or do we need to know how much is needed to pay the bills?!

That is because there is no news... I did an interview with Trevor right after the Dewsbury away match who said as much all of which can be heard on Episode 33 of Talking Points (loverugbyleague.com's podcast). Since then he has been away.

It will take as long as it takes. The current board said they will resign from the end of the season if it makes it easier for a new board/ownership to take over. If this does not happen then they will remain in position.

I thought they had tendered their resignation - full stop? I got the impression that only two (PC and KF) would remain to run the club/assist in handover - whichever applies.

A friend of mine was talking to one of the other directors a couple of weeks ago and he confirmed what Dave has said.

Yes - the members (shareholders) have a duty to appoint directors.

Dont shareholders have to be consulted too in event of a takeover?

Yes, but if there's a majority shareholder then only they need to be consulted.
