Gracious in defeat in regards to his post Match interview, hats off to him.

It was his 'hand on head gesture' - sort of 'what the hell in the world have I done to deserve this'

Well I thought his post match interview showed he had a certain style. They showed the break Worrincy made at 16-10 and you could clearly see Stu Litter puliing back a Fax player (Beswick I think). He was asked about the incident and just calmly said" well the ref thought Worrincy was going to score and therefore could not give the penalty" whereas I would have made a right meal of it.

I thought the same - fair play to the bloke.

I notice Nobby didn't appear on the couch for "The Super Dooper League Show", alongside RHP, last night.......d'ya reckon he was sulking??

Good job this wasnt Yawnion, there would have been 3 or 4 passages of play and the ref would still bring it back for the pen.

I'm sorry for laughing but he looked like he was having a stroke - poor fella, I really felt for him.

The penalty would have been given straight away as they just wouldn't have considered it possible to actually score a try.

Worrincy would have kicked it as soon as he caught it if it was Union

The ball wouldn't have got as far as Worrincy if it was Yawnion!

Well all i can say is that he never looked like scoring with the cover coming across and I think that was why Calland was so exasperated. Possible try, 4th tackle or penalty with 6 more or shot at goal? Not much of a choice to me.

Right call from the officals after Rob played the ball Leigh where all over the place defensively and if the final pass from Fax had been better they would have scored...

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Worrincy slipping over. Had he stayed on his feet then he'd have scored barring a superhuman effort from Donlan which to me made it the right call even before getting to the size of the overlap from the play the ball.

If the Ref had blown right away the players and fans would probably have gone mad because he definitely looked like scoring until he slipped and he thought so too ,as for Matt Calland I felt really sorry for him he was absolutely gutted ,he was coming down the steps thinking its going to be extra time but before he got to the bottom Leigh scored

The guy's gone up in my estimation. A very dignified response in extremely trying circumstances.

Yeah well done to Matt Calland for keeping his head in the post match interview, it would have been easy for him to feel particularly hard done by but I can understand why the ref played on because even when Worrincy slipped they still bombed another chance afterwards.

Donlan was closing in and McGillvray was homing in so there's no guarantee he'd have scored anyway.
