Apparently Leigh's saviour is having dificulty getting his ideas (and money) past the current boardroom dwellers.

If it's true then said person should name and shame, because if it's true that any of the current board members are standing in the way of someone who has the cash to fund the club then it would be a disgrace.

then as IM said if the present board are not up to it step aside and let a new one in if its for the good of the club and i agree with that

if its the same person as i think it is he has been in meetings and had a tour round about 5 times now

I hope it's somebody that will formulate a plan to get us as close to self sustaining as quickly as possible , and is willing to put a small amount of money to achieve that aim

Only if what they received for that money was the reasonable going rate for goods/services received

It isn't necessarily a business head , more a marketing genius , or somebody willing to look outside the ' norm ' to get what they want

No disrespect to Arthur , but I don't think in his businesses he would have had to use the skills required to build a sports club
