Quite an honest and frank interview with Basil on GMR. Basically said that unless we get a buyer soon we are in deep deep trouble. Let's see what happens over the next week or soon.

TBH everyone should be very worried after listening to what Basil said (Radio Manchester will replay it tomorrow if you missed it), compared it to when we was at Hilton Park and nearly went under thus having to raise money quickly.

To sum it up when asked about his own coaching position at the club he said that he wouldn't be here as if things don't go well we won't have a team for him to coach.

Just got back in from work and have missed the game - hope Basil told it as it is and maybe some heads will now come out of the sand.

unfortunately I can only see administration, -9 points and a mass exodus of players and the coach.

Now that interview should shut up all those that don't think AT was bankrolling the club.

To be in administration we would have to be in debt, which I thought we were being told was not the case. What it would mean though would drastic cost cutting which would result in most of the most well paid players leaving anyway.

I think Maurice's supporters trust may well very soon become the only show in town!

As mentioned above, we're apparently debt free so the first two might not happen, but the latter two seem almost inevitable as far as I'm concerned.

Well I don't know anyone locally that has enough money and cares enough to invest in a club that can't go anywhere for the next three seasons anyway. And the RFL says they're looking after the interests of the game etc.... absolute hogwash.

They're slowly strangling the game below SL and nobody seems to be able to do anything about it.

I agree but thats how it is, our concerns should be having a club to support right now.

I haven't got the money to "unite" either. Heard today at work their are going to be redundancies so anyone and everyone is under the microscope there.
