| Nanyn is around 100pts off becoming one of the games top 10 scorers ever.
As for kickers Mick Stacy for me was the best ever Leigh kicker.

| Ferguson.
Woody was the laziest kicker, it didn't matter whether he was five yards away or 50 it would only clear the bar with inches.

| Woody was brilliant. Unique. Oh Jimmy Ledgard wasn't a bad kicker either.

| we have been quite blessed with kickers
Risman, Ferguson, Stacy, Woods, Turley,Nanyn to name but a few, it's the try scorers that have let us down

None of this elaborate preparation for the kick with Woody either. It was often a question of whether the touch judges would get behind the posrts, before he took the kick!

I recall a radio interview with Woody just before he retired in 1993 stating He never saw the point of 'taking an eternity to have a pot at goal'

| Is it still within the rules of the game that you can opt for a drop goal as a conversion rather than a conventional kick from the floor ?

| Who kicks for us this season if Nanyn is out injured? Does anyone know if Ellis is a reliable kicker?

Pretty sure that, that is still in the rules, along with forfeiting your conversion to get the ball back quicker and go for a try.

An Oz team did that the other week and ended getting another 6 pts from the resulting ko, pretty sure it was Parramatta.

Its still in the rules that you DO NOT have to take a conversion following a try, happened a few times in aus in recent years

| Yes you can drop for goal from a converstion or a penalty, it then makes a drop goal 2 pts - this was a question in the LISA quiz but not a 'points' one.

| We have indeed had some of the worlds best Goalkickers at Leigh and Colin Tyrer and Jimmy Fiddler could be added to those already mentioned. My choice would be between Ledgard,Ferguson and Woods all of them realiable match winners however, Woody would be my choice he was nerveless!!
