Yep, outstanding in both attack and defence...... trust Robbie to try and tackle Yere - he`s the hardest hitter on their team, hope he`s ok for next week as he was havin a good game to that point.

Is there still a minimum time period you can't play after suffering from concussion?

No, they got rid of the mandatory 2 week ban a couple of years ago IIRC?

Think it's based upon some kind of reaction-speed test now where they take a reading at the start of the season and you have to match it again after a concussion before you're allowed to play again?

Real champagne stuff from us today, in fact some of our best plays were when it didn't end in a try (Hill's sidestep, Riddy's kick, Nanyn's 40 yard burst etc)

Well I think that was the best all round performance I have seen from a Leigh side for donkeys years.

I mentioned after the Salford friendly we would be in for a good season and this side has so much potential it makes me so chuffed. Can't help but thinking there is more to come from this side of ours. They are superbly fit good to watch and now we are developing flair in attack to match our defence.

Mom ? no doubt Ridyard was outstanding and he has come on leaps and bounds since Basil and Robbie joined us. I think every player was brilliant today.

Like everyone else I hope Robbie is ok. It is such a shame the Leigh and district public have not cottoned on yet. Here is hoping they will soon.

I thought Martyn was good but for absolute none stop effort. Tommy Goulden for me. And who said our backs lack pace. Did you see Adam Higson slice their left hand side open. Higgy is going to be a real stand out performer this year.

Outstanding performance by Leigh today. MOM for me was Adam Higson, he had Yere in his pocket, his tackling was outstanding and a great break to set up a try. Ridyard had a good game, well done Leigh.

It will take an exceptional team to beat us when we are in the mood this year!

I thought David Mills was MOM. He made some big yards and took some stopping. That offload in the first half when he had three men hanging off him was a joy to behold.

Mills is looking like a really good addition to the side, certainly offers some muscle when in the past we've maybe looked a bit weaker when our starting props are off the field.

Well there is not one of our pack who comes on to replace another one' this season' who I for one isn't glad that he is on the pitch.

Mills is one of the most shrewd signings in years, have a look at how all the other forwards "PICK UP THE BATON AND RUN" when he is on the park, runs like a Train, our pack dominated frrom 1-80 mins today against a side who over the last few years has bullied us!

Havn't seen such a solid intensity from a Leigh team for a long time
Thought our forwards carried on as from last week and dominated allowing our backs to lay a good platform.
One thing you get from Basils sides is entertaining RL and we are currently seeing it with Leigh.
We seem to have a good mix of youth and experience and the team is benefiting.
Agree totally with the official MOM, Impossible today to pick one which is really pleasing to see.
One of Ridyards passes today was pure class and worth the admission in itself, you can't teach that and I believe we have a gem in the making.
Hope Robbie is all right after being in a nasty collision.
Thought Hillsys sinbinning was a bit harsh and also thought the same linesman who flagged it dissalowed a try that could possibly have stood, having said that I thought the officials let the game go today with the penalties only really coming near the end and deserve credit, its exactly what a fan wants to see from the match officials.
