I am pleased to announce that we have once again produced our matchday magazine, for the Salford 'friendly' game. The magazine, as usual at this time of year, is an abbreviated version of 12 pages, and will be on sale for £1.50. Once again, I am indebted to Dave Parkinson, for his considerable input to 'The Centurion'

We intend to produce a similar-format version of 'The Centurion' for the two January 'friendlies' against Warrington and Harlequins.

When the season proper gets underway, we aim to revert to a much larger matchday magazine, but discussions on the size and format of that magazine, have yet to take place.

It is an excellent program but I still think you should run a competition to guess the number of exclamation marks in the magazine !!!!!!! :O)

Thats a bone of contention. It can be said and used two ways.

The actual saying is "Hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say". Hear.hear is an abreviasion of that. And so the lesson ends.

Donlans had surgery so doubt he' ll play wonder if we'll we young Johnny Pownall.

Not sure I get that one but Pownall is a great prospect imo. I still think we will win easy.

So there'll be no Paul. no Bibey & probably no Donlan too that aint the best then if there is one person you want on the field Donlan is the first in my mind. On the plus though we all know what the 3 above can do so this is good opportunity for those players tying to get their spot in the team & especially for the ones coming through
