Like I said on another thread, points wise its a good move but the lad needs to work on his defence drastically for the oncoming season.

Agree with that. Can't knock his point scoring record but we do need to find alternatives out wide or we'll just carry on shipping points.

Well i for one am very pleased, he gets slated by some on this mb, but were could you get somebody who scores all those points, very hard to replace, yes he can work on defence, as casn every player, good re-signing.

i can't believe anyone complains about a player of Nanyns calibre being retained. the was THE ONLY player from last seasons squad to make the championship dream team and just happened to be our HIGHEST point scorer of the season.
Personally i think its great news.

Which is the same Mick Nanyn that played for Widnes. Rugby League is about scoring points and Nanyn scores them for fun. He makes any team at this level stronger in my opinion.

There are plenty of other 'slow' Centres around this division that don't score 1/4 of Mick's tries... saying that their are plenty faster ones that don't either... swap you for Gardner / Varkulis?

True. Although Riddy would have done ok kicking next season without Mick we would of missed some of his goal kicking & his kicks offs are excellent too

Unsure about retaining Mick.

Did we really want him? I think Basil would of preferred to bring someone else in, ie Littler but maybe things haven't gone to plan. Yes he's an excellent goal kicker and deadly from 10 yards but his in ability to defend and pass to his winger is a real downside to his game. Lets hope he's improving on it in pre-season.

if i remember correctly Littler normally plays on the right side of attack and even without him we'd need at least 1 more centre plus cover
