well imo he aint going to get a deal with warrington, so if i were thomas/millward i'd defo be offering him a deal for next year, he was one of our most consistent players, and would be a fine recruit.

Would he be available on a duel contract again if wire allow it. Or is there rule on how long a duel contract can be for.

I think the ruling is as long as their under 23 years old they can play dual contract I think.

| Quote Clubs shall be entitled to enter into Dual Registration agreements as
follows:
(a) All three parties (the Super League Club, the Championships Club and the Player) sign
a Dual Registration form in such format as the RFL shall require from time to time;
(b) Only a Player currently registered as a professional player with a Super League Club
who is under 23 on 31 August in the year preceding the season in which the proposed
Dual Registration will apply and who is outside the Super League club’s top 20 players
(ranked by Salary Cap Value) for the Season in question can be Dual Registered;
(c) Only a Club in the Championships may “receive” a Player on Dual Registration;
(d) A “receiving” Club is limited to a total of four loaned and/or Dual Registered players at
any one time (in this respect a Dual Registration counts if it is current not just when it
is being activated);
(e) A “receiving” Club is limited to a total of three loaned or Dual Registered players from
any one Club at any particular time (in this respect a Dual Registration counts if it is
current not just when it is being activated);
(f) Dual Registration agreements may be submitted at any time in the Season and a Player
may be Dual Registered to more than one Club during a Season although he may not
be subject to more than one Dual Registration agreement at any one time;
(g) A Dual Registration agreement will terminate on the date stated in the agreement
unless it is extended or renewed by agreement of all three parties;
(h) A Dual Registration agreement may be rescinded at any time by the written agreement
of all three parties;
(i) It shall be for the two Clubs and Player to decide the details of the Dual Registration
agreement. However the Player remains contracted to the Super League Club and as
such the Super League Club will be entitled to decide for which team the Player shall
be entitled to play in any particular round;
(j) In order to protect the welfare of the Player he shall only be entitled to play one fixture
in any week’s round of fixtures; and
(k) The Salary Cap treatment of Dual Registered Players is set out in Section E1 and E2 of
these Rules.'"
So I think the answer to the question is yes  |

Would make sense to do that again if could not get him on full year loan! Wire may just tie him down , give him another year on loan and see how far he progresses! |

Season / month loans are always better however with this DR system no SL club will ever go for Season long loans now (unless need a player 100% off cap I guess). The argument is you may get better players... but on a month to month I don't think it is so really! |

I'm suprised Wire want to retain Blythe, I personally don't think he's SL standard, especially top 4 SL standard, which is where Wire are.
Don't get me wrong, he's plenty good enough for us, i'm just a bit suprised that he's being retained.

Thing is he may not be showing his full potential ,his game could improve more if he got the chance to play 1st team rugby then again it may not but Warrington obviously see something in him |

It seems to me he's not quick enough to be a centre/winger and not big enough for the 2nd row, in SL anyway.
