Other than the Manchester Evening News rumours, I've not heard anything about this regarding Ian and he was speaking passionately about his role with the club when I spoke to him very recently.

I don't think Basil will be here next season, can see some truth in this because Mcrae is on his way out, Basil will have signed as assistant and walk into the first team coach job as soon as he's fired or gets up to tech director. Think about it, was leigh ever gonna be more than a stepping stone to get into another SL job?
