Well all I can say is "well done that man Rooney".

Agree about Heskey, but nothing is going right for Rooney. I am a fan of his and in league hated him because he has been so good, but will say he has had terrible WC so far. Get him on the bench to give Slovenia a worry of when he is coming on.
I hope I'm wrong and he has a stormer in the next game - but when Defoe Crouch Shauny came on we did at last look threatening - but it was all too late in the game.
It will be devastating to go out so early. Capello seems a bit like Eriksson and not being able to make a decisive change when things are clearly not working.

Nothing to do with footie and although they showed Rooney saying something after the game which I could not make out. I have met him in Manchester and although he did not see me I saw him being spoken to by a big issue seller. The lad never asked him to buy one but said hey Rooney you are the best footballer I have ever watched.

Rooney looked embarrassed and they got chatting about footie. When Rooney thanked him for the compliment he put his hand in his pocket and gave the lad a £20 note the lads face was a picture. I was dead chuffed with it cos the lad was over the moon.

He is the best ENGLISH forward in the premiership for me.

totally agree, the really sad thing is, when they do eventually get knocked out, some players will still make a fortune selling their world cup story to the media, you just know some newspaper or magazine will have something along the lines of "lampard exclusive!! why we were so e", and to reward failure is just SO WRONG!!
