We arent a one man team, we were missing 9 players from the team that beat Halifax in our best performance of the season.

Im with you Tipster Ste,it will be a differant side on Thursday,and hopefully a differant result,but it shows yoUTu our reserves are not as good aswethink they are but Basil willsort allthis out .

Batley outplayed us today there no.7 was a real handful ,we did'nt make any headway going down the slope so was'nt holding my breath when going up in second half tut

anyway we told the Batley fans that it was their Blackpool today when one said he could taste the fish n chips

Funny that Widnes supporters were saying at the begining of the season when we drew with them at home in the rail cup that that was our cup final, we then went and beat them in there own back yard by a good score.
I am not saying we will win but you will know you have been in a game and dont be shocked if/when we do win.

Unfortunately Fred we now know the the answer to this now and his initials are KH. Karl is doing a great job at Batley, no overseas players, and has created a fantastic spirit in the team and in Handforth has a player who has run the show in both matches.

For Leigh it's not the end the end of the world and most fans would have taken our current position at the start of the season. A home win against Keighley is now a must going into the difficult spell of away matches.
