Well I was in the North stand as usual today and did not see or hear of trouble.

Seems some did though from a few posts I have read on here and the Fax site. I think antagonising or assaulting away fans is stupid not to mention wrong. I am not talking about having light hearted banter of course but the to read that we have fellow Leythers racially abusing players too is not good reading.

After the behaviour of a couple of idiotic Haven fans last week it surprises me this has not been sorted at our own place.Had it have happened near me I would definately have expressed my dissapproval. Let us stamp this out now. It is shamefull.

Quite right!! There is no place for that kind of behaviour - especially at a club like ours, who have welcomed, and taken to our hearts so many players of different creed, colour, or country of origin!!

If anyone witnessed any of these alledged incidents they are duty bound to report what they have seen/heard to the club. If it is true that stewards turned a blind eye to this type of behaviour, then that also needs investigating!

Where is Dave when you want him, he was very scathing about Haven stewards last week and commended himself and his fellows for the good job they do. It seems not all are toeing the party line.

If racism is thriving on the Leigh terraces then it needs sorting while it is happening, not after it has been reported.

Unfortunately the LSV stewards are not trained, equiped or have the numbers to evict several fans at one time. What I would suggest is they are given flip cameras to record any bad behavour and pass it on. The other thing is that the lads are from Leigh and are probably known to the idiots doing the wrongs so the stewards are already on a looser. Don't like hearing crap like this about our club, we are Leythers not scumbags. Root them out and ban them for life. Two bits of bad news today this and the result. You don't need to evict them all at once, pull out the one or two making the most noise and chuck them out. Repeat until the lesson is learned.

So who holds off the idiots mates when the you are evicting said idiot? Our stewards are not upto this job and should have the police to back them up when needed. In todays enviroment scum who do these things have very little respect for the police so do you think they will heed a steward? Film them and ban them.

I didn't see or hear anything untoward, but I sincerely hope that it's a one-off - this club is far better than that.

Tell me - how DO you deal with it? What can you do? If you start walking up to them and try to eject them what happens if they try and resist? What happens if you send a few coppers in there? It could escalate. I think clubs bury their head in the sand hoping it will go away. Fax had a similar problem last year with bottle throwers. I don't think the club did anything to stamp it out - it just disappeared this year (not sure if other fans put a stop to it).

There isn't an easy solution without giving these pricks the attention they crave.

Get whoever is responsible identified, get them watched on the CCTV and take criminal proceedings if necessary.

I was in the North Stand adjacent to the West and heard nothing, however to our fellow Leythers any sort of this behaviour is wholly unacceptable .

We stood behind the sticks in the North stand and there were was an elderly bloke slagging the team off from the off till the end, in the end we all told him if hedidnt want to to support "his" team or go home, he was disgraceful, we dont need speccies like him

Well as usual I took my 8 year old daughter. We sat in the west stand and i have to say we all really enjoyed the day. In the west stand your fans were great and my daughter said she thought it was the best game we have been to this year and she loved your stadium.

Hope you manage to get rid of the vile scum you seem to have in the north stand but overall, thanks for a memorable day out.

can i speak for the stewards i think sometimes the problem is gettin to know your spekies a lot of stewards dont know were there goin to b on matchday till they get there at the old ground we had a ground responce team paddy and max myself and a couple more that were sent for in situations like the one mentioned to calm things down this was done away with at lsv i am lucky in the fact that i do the dug out and so get to know my crowd we ave a bit of good banter with each other if i miss a game they want to know were i was and i know who is goin to sit in a certain seat every game and we have a great day every game i thinlk if the crowd get to know who there steward is on a regular basis like at hp it goes a long way to building a bond with them they then get to know how far to go and were to toe the line yes there will always be numties heads but very few and far between just my opinion

He was making a nuisance of himself in the sense he was spoiling peoples enjoyment of the game. Several people moved including me due to his constant whining whinging and moaning. His elderley wife looked very embarassed.

I don't disagree people are entitled to their opinion, but to start before kick off and continue for the whole game is just stupid, don't think he was even watching the game.

that is down to the stewards in your part of the ground to call for his supervisor or the control room to put the camaras on them there is always back up if needed

this "alledged" inceident is quickly turning into another "whitehaven baseball bat" accusation. in other words it may not have happened or is being blown out of all proportions.

This also gives others the right to tell him to shut up and support what you would assume is ' his ' team , every tiny mistake was picked upon with " He's crap , get rid " , or " the bubbles burst "

We are 2 nd in a competition we are very lucky to be in , the only person who doesn't make mistakes is the person who doesn't do anything , we played well yesterday but fell short in the end , there are 5 , possibly 6 very good teams in this division with 5 others all capable of raising their game to beat anybody
