AS you know we are organising the walk to Widnes to raise money for IM to buy player/players to strengthen our squad, however the walkers will need to get back, I can book them on the LISA coaches that will run on the day but if theres say 30 ish walkers Id need the 37 seater coach, which will cost us over £200 POUNDS and thats a big chunk out of the money made, Now I would pay for my seat on the coach and Rachel as indicated she will too, but cant see others wanting to do this. So if anyone out there can provide sponsership or even minibuses to get us walkers back i would be really appriecaited

Youve misunderstood, what I meant is there has to be a way of getting the walkers back, now whilst im happy and Rachel to pay for our seats, on the Lisa coach and just return on it, will the otherS? I doubt it so I was looking for offers of help or donations toward the cost of a coach to egt them back.

If a coach (or a large enough one) cannot be found to bring the walkers back to Leigh could some of the supporters going by car not bring a few back if they have empty seats?
I can't do the walk but i'm prepared to bring 6 back in my car and drop them off at various points (within reason)

Good luck to all, and I'm gutted I can't join in this time, but as a seasoned walker, a word of advice - make sure you wear comfortable shoes, boots or strong trainers, and thick socks. That sort of mileage is a serious distance for those not used to it. Make sure you have plenty of liquid intake (LOL as if you wouldn't) and have something to eat on the hoof to keep you going. Bananas are a source of instant energy, and those energy bars that taste like dried cardboard are good too. Anyone need any advice, just PM me ....
