I still can't see the good case for having French teams in any of our leagues to be honest. I don't mind them being in the Cup but they need to develop their own league.

I've said this before but without a competitive French league the game will never grow over there and therefore they'll never have a good enough international side to compete with England, Australia and New Zealand.

To be fair Warren should not have been appointed to this game, he was always going to be in a lose/lose situation. But I suppose if Ganson can ref Saints in the CC final anything goes as far as appointments are concerned these days.

As far as I'm aware you're allowed to ref the town of your birth now quite readily. The fact is had we been able to fly there we'd have won at a canter and the Frogs need to get used to that fact.

I find it odd that an 'inexperienced' (Limoux description, not mine) referee, in a hostile, home crowd environment is accused of 'favouring' the away team. You would expect them to be influenced by the home crowd, not the away team?

Also, this is the same Limoux team that was widely condemned for an 'indisciplined' attitude, in the previous round.

Perhaps it's all down to a difference in interpretation in the laws of the game?
