Tremendous start to the season, we need to keep this momentum going. If someone said to me at the start of the season we'd be in the quater finals of the northern rail cup and have 14 out of 15 points in the league I'd have told them they were mad. Very proud to be a Leyther tonight.

as a TOXIII season ticket holder I would just like to thank all the travelling Leyther fans for their great support & hospitality at the match last night - their behaviour was a credit to the club and the town as well as to rugby league - the team were impressive too with no weak links and a special mention to Robbie who was majestic and John Duffy & Nick Nanyn who were awesome ! everything about this Centurions set-up seems to be altogether more professional this season (the Millward influence maybe ?) with their exemplary attitude both on and off the pitch - thanks again to all the brilliant fans (there must be a few sore heads this morning !) and a special thank you to FredParky for taking the trouble to spend so much time with us - best wishes for the Batley game

This is exactly the start I expected. Just look down the team rosta and we have one of the best coaches in the world. If anybody expected any less than I dont know where you have been in the off season!

Very early to be thinking of the GF, but you can always dream.

Thanks for the kind words - definitely a few sore heads (and sore throats) on Saturday and Sunday but i think a good time was had by all. I'm sure the leythers would agree we were treated really well in and around Toulouse again this year, and the performance and result from the players made the trip even better. It was a pleasure to meet you and you're wife after the game, and the book we promised you should be on its way soon. Keep up all the good work following the Toulouse lads, and good luck for the Fax game and the rest of the season.

They were treated to "nil poi in your own backyard" up until the 76th minute though



Toulouse team were on our flight back this morning so it would have been rude not to wish them bon chance tomorrow.

How did Stanton & Higson play on friday?

Thought Higson looked a little off the pace, personally, but I think that's to be expected given how little game time he has had so far this season. Once the reserves start up again then he will get a chance to get back up to speed.

Stanton's try in the corner was exactly the type that we've been crying out for since we signed him with a little dink over the top. Had a very good game but I thought Alstead was absolutely immense.

Lets hope we see more of Stanton this season & Higson too when wire lads get recalled.
