However, I'm pretty sure the RFL have needed to approve all minute silences for quite a while, and also that it's the club who need to apply for the RFL's approval, with the opposition club's support if possible? How can the RFL say no to a minutes silence at a clubs request? How very disrespectful to the family of the loved one who gets told no, you can't have a minutes silence.

I hope Mr McCulloch gets the respect he deserves at your next game.

Think it's just to make sure they don't occur every week for any Thomas, Richard or Harold.

When there is a sad occasion like this and it is someone who is special to his club, who has clearly contributed a lot to his clubs. Would it not be nice to have a photo of him on the big screen during the minutes silence?

That would be down to the LSV Tony, perhaps Michael Ward could 'fix it'? I'm sure Mr Chairman or any other East member could get a photo

Like me we all have stood and observed them over the years but its not until its unfortunely your turn,that you realise the power of that minute,it was a feeling I take with me ever since,and the tribute in the program that match confirm what a great community club we are.
