following heavy overnight snow todays game has been abandoned . 3 inch of snow on top of the covers . referee called in to inspect mr leahy from batley rung the club at 9.35 to say that he was snowed in in batley and could not even drive to dewsburys ground to perform the formalities . with the situation hopeless the game was abandoned .

come on guys, w're all gutted, no real ale and sunday lunch at the station for me, but lets look at it again, it means we will have picked up no little niggling injuries going into a big game on thurs v barrow, and assuming the game is re-scheduled for the following midweek we will of had more preparation time than dews, so all in all gutted but looking on the bright side,

Works out best for us, I reckon. No risk of niggling injuries ahead of Barrow, and will give us an idea of what we need to do to make sure we qualify.

just spoke to the club, and its not confirmed 100%, but it looks more than likely that the dews game will be a week on wednesday, but please do not make plans as like i said this is NOT confirmed but likely.

If thats the case I need someone else to sort out the coach as I move house on the day after and so I wont be going.
