No it wasn't re the Ch 1 cap they have NO MONEY NOW FOR ANYMORE SIGNINGS and thats straight from Mr Millward.
Its called living wthin their means and being realistic under the salary cap.
Thats why he is making a big push on season tickets, LISA, Lottery and the Corporate club.

Think Thackeray and Horne could be realistic with another young prop wither Davies or Farell from wigan

500 new shirts sold and 1500 season tickets and £100,000 in new corporate sponsorship should ease your concerns

Putting them on sale would help!!

Very good player is Liam Keith, watched him a number of times this last year. barring injury destined to play at the top level.

Dual contract players is the wrong way to go in my opinion. Look at last season with Hemmingway. Just when we needed him he was recalled by Hudds to play in a meaningless game. Widnes had loan players that helped them win the NR cup but were then recalled by their Superleague clubs, meaning the Widnes squad were de-stabalised and crap again

What if their clubs had recalled them prior to the NR cup final would they have won tha game?

Not using dual contract players means you have a stable squad and not liable to nasty surprises later in the season.

Personally I think we only need a second row and possibly a centre.

Agree...... think wing is were we are short and McGillvary or Ainscough is exactly what we need. Poss season loan for McGillvary as cant see him breaking into the Huddersfield team unless they get a serious run of injuries.

have richard flecther and gavin dodd found clubs for next season yet these two would be good signings too in my opinion

Beleive Fletch is still available ....but think Dodd has signed for Oldham.

All I'm saying Fred is that I'm quite prepared to pay up now for my season ticket and shirt and as long as they arrive before the start of the season I'm not bothered! Surely I'm not the only one prepared to do this if it means money is available to sign players. I just worry that by the time we have collected this money all the best players will have gone elsewhere.

David Alstead could do a job in the centres. I thought this was where he was most effective last season.

There are reasons why these things are late -one being the sponsors debate and what div we were in and no they couldnt have sorted it out they had to know first (the sponsors that is as some were for pulling out if in div 1), as for season tickets well thats a different issue I knew they were having a board meeting to discuss it but dont know when?if it has happened.
It is only November after all.

Apparently Fletcher is wanting more money than Thackery and King which is strange when you compare the players. King and JT are in limbo after no SL clubs have shown ny interest in them and only top end Champ teams can get any where near what they are wanting.
