on a side note,i wish all teams would drop the stupid animal/warlike nicknames. theyre cringeworthy and pointless.
only eddie and steveo ever refer to teams as "the bulls" or "the warriors" ect

Great kit...one of my favourites, material was ok as well, none of that 100% nylon rubbish. I had mine for years until handing it over to my uncle, down south, who sometimes gives it an airing in Norwich

In all honestly I am yet to hear a single 'Leigh' supporter refer to team as 'The Centurions'

The reason being for me is because as monikers go it's absolute bobbins and has only ever briefly been beaten by 'The Lakers' and 'The Barracudas' and the officials at those clubs had the good sense to ditch them.

Many people feel there is a new beginning for Leigh dawning, and therefore now I think present's a brand new opportunity to re invent one of potentially the club's best marketing idea's that arguably was never executed to it's full potential

Did n`t North Sydney Bears complain about naming rights , hence the Leigh Bears demise. Although it did n`t stop Oldham becoming the Bears a few years later........
