Was in the bar after the game when Don came around selling tickets for a signed leigh ball,he left the drawing out of the ticket to my daughter to organise which she did,after going around the room telling everyone what the winning ticket number was, no one claimed the ball so Jade made her way upstairs to give the rugby ball back to Don,when she got to the door upstairs she was told she cannot come in !!!!! "what a joke this club is " in the passed people have gone upstairs to be greated with the words "we dont want your sort up here",it sounds like we have a "us and them" culture starting.

Was it club personell or LSV there is a difference.

I have found in my dealings with the LSV that they are rule bound and stick ridgidly to them even though they know they are stupid. The place is staffed by jobsworths.

Fred i think it was LSV jobsworth,it seem they have 1 rule for 1 and 1 for another i know people who go upstairs after the game even though they are nothing to do with the club !!

They stopped that policy a couple of months ago, you don't need a ticket now. However, the numpties that run the bar still put the sign outside that says "Legends Bar Open. Tickets Only". It only needs a bit of sticky tape to hide the "Tickets Only" bit!!!!

I was asked to show my ticket before they let me in the Legends bar yesterday....

Thankfully they arent charging you like they did at the beginning of the season

It's things like this that get peoples backs up about the LSV company. I didn't go in yesterday but the last three home games I have and didn't have to show a ticket.

Thats to stop people who are'nt gong to the match getting into Legends and paying twice as much as they would at most bars in Leigh, honestly you could get killed in the crush.

Exactly. You'd think they'd be glad of the income - if people are daft enough to pay £3 a pint when they aren't even going to the game then more fool them! I'll stick to the Ellesmere, thanks.

Their was 2 blokes asking in their all black outfits trying to be LSV Ninja, might have been because Phil Bentham and Harrison Hanson were in having a pitcher or 2..

I might send the LSV an email asking why they do this....

The "ninjas in black" are "corporate security" contracted by the sports village, the same group from HP. As they are paid by LSV they follow what LSV tell them to do. It isnt worth the trouble to let one person in even if it is common sense. These guys ask for tickets, to make sure the legends bar will always be available for fans, and not just hangers on having a drink. (also LSV rules)

Common sense and LSV something that never go together

Not always the case, Fred. I had a phone call from Simon Toone yesterday, after I had submitted a load of quotes from Halifax fans, about the ticketing system. Whilst I don't necessarliy agree 100% with what he said to me, I have to admit that I did get a lot of information about LSV and what they are trying to do - (which is certainly not to get Centurions or Genesis out of there.)

I would recommend anyone who has serious questions, to raise them through the Club - that's how I did it.
