Had we recruited well enough in pre-season we wouldn't be in a relegation battle, instead we'd be planning for the play offs. What team goes through the season with a recognized 6, there's been no stability in the side at all. Like TV Boy said, blanket blame. Stick it over the Red Hall too.

I'd love to say it wasn't a tongue in cheek comment but it was. Whilst our going down may not be 100% our fault certainly 90% of the blame lies at the club not the RFL

I'll say it again - 9 wins out of 20 games is poor but not enough be relegated side.
45% success rate for results is more below mid table or something than relegation.
Relegating 2 teams from 10 is the mistake IMO as its too harsh.

But 7 out of the 10 managed to get enough points to avoid the drop...lets stop blaming others!

Totally agree, we need to start a fresh and work our way back up to where we belong as a bigger and better club - not run by idiots.

Its not blaming others as such. I am simply pointing out a flaw in having 2 clubs going down.
The last thing I want to do is blame people outside the club - RFL, refs, conspiricies etc.....We got ourselves in the mess by being too complacent that we would never go down.

Still think weve been screwed, I went Gateshead, we was hard done by, so were we last week, still feel, because of what Mr Rowley Senior, Said after Celtic being awarded a SL place ,we are being relegated,altrhough I agree 100% per cent what he said Allan was right.

There is a host of blame at many doors none of which are a single contributing factor.

It's lots of little things that have added up. We can point at not having an established 6 all season, appointing a man who could not comminucate with the squad, or Donlan not being fit for most of it, or having some big earners on long contracts not doing the business; equally we can point at Watson missing the 2nd half of the Barrow home game or Batley taking 2 points in the last minute just to gain a bonus point.

Lots of coulda shoulda wouldas. We're down, simple as that. We regroup and move on.

However, I doubt I will see another team in my lifetime get relegated in 9th spot after winning 9 out of 20, finishing on 32 points, just two wins below the 3rd place team and above a team that are exempt from relegation.

Agree with everything however, how many of us said if we finish above Toulouse and get relegated it wont be fair?

At the end of the day everyone knew the rules, fair or unfair - its un level playing fields which really annoy me
