Due to Sky TV choosing Halifax and Batley for the live TV game on the 20th August the re-arranged Leigh v Halifax game due to take place on Wednesday the 19th will now have to be re-arranged again.
The Club will announce the new date once it has been agreed with The RFL and Halifax RLFC. |

| However, SKY do not appear to have announced which Championship games they are to televise, in the final week of the Championship season. What are the chances that those games might then impact on our attempts to re-arrange this one?
e.g Halifax v Toulouse, or Leigh v Whitehaven - either of which could decide who finishes top.
Also, the RFL, bless them, still have Leigh v Halifax (19th August) and Batley v Halifax (20th August) on their website fixtures!  |

Not necessarily...........Sky had Barrow v. Toulouse for their Thursday transmission fairly recently if memory serves me correct..........and Barrow is much further from any airport than Halifax making travel even more difficult for the French outfit. |

6pm Kick Off on the Challenge cup weekend would work wouldn't it? Im not sure how many of the opposing teams fans go to the final, but i would still bet on a larger crowd than on a Wednesday night
