To be honest a lot of the super league clubs have no or very little walk up crowd[paying cash on day 90% plus are discounted season tickets and kids give aways ,thats why the challenge cup games have so little crowds
The challenge cup games and attendances are a true record of the willing to pay crowd...worrying times for a few clubs
There is also a chance that you can devalue something too much. If you make it so cheap people naturally think its garbage your selling, its a fine balance to get things right. Once you make something free for example how can you ever change that?
Apathy is rife in Super League at the minute. At least we can 'sell' our games as relegation battles over the rest of the season - what can the bottom 11 teams in Super League bill games as, apart from the odd derby game etc?
