Just looking at the league table and realised how few points we have scored compared to the rest of the league. Apart from us and Donny every other team has scored over 400 points so far. We're on 280

Looks like we got the player development problem highlighted by Dick Lewis sorted, the only problem is we forgot about the first team

Apart from Donny the next worse is 28

But defence wins games

Ironically, we've possibly got two of the best goal-kickers around. But they're no use to us, if we can't score any tries! (unless of course we get a ref, who does a James Child/Ronnie Laughton, in our favour!

Our points for is pathetic.

Defence does win games though if you have an average attack.

We don,t have an average attack and after last weeks tick exhibition even though it,s very late in the season I,d expect a coach to do something about it from the squad he has got/or inherited.

I,m a fan not a coach, but I wouldn,t keep picking serial offenders. We have four home games left we should win one for sure we need to win another one at least. I pay to watch and I expect the coaching staff to come up with solutions/ideas/game plans or at least instill a team spirit into the side I support.

I've never been a great fan of statistics as they can be interpretated so many different ways

Things like tackling and knock ons are dependant on what the opposition and your fellow players do rather than what you do , similarily missed tackles are dependant on both the opposition and your fellow players

Quite often the team that makes the most mistakes will lose , but then the team that make the most offloads will win

So what do you do , not offload in case you make a mistake ?

To me there are two ways to play sport , positively or negatively ? , I know which I prefer

Which do you prefer to watch Frank , a good defence or a good attack ?

I'm a fan of a good attack, although it would have had to have been a good one to compensate for the defence (i.e. lack of it) last Saturday!

If you are good at attacking you tend to get a lot more possession than if you are always defending

As the 'stats' showed for Sunday

Well last Saturday I,m not surprised wth these sort of stats when you manage to score THIRTEEN tries against a team stood behind the sticks not to mention the time it takes the THIRTEEN try teams kicker to kick 11 goals.

I wonder how many scrums there were and how many minutes they eat up. Might have been better if we,d started a punch up they might have only scored TWELVE tries had we eaten up the clock.

Any team going into a season with out, a recognised centre, a wide running second rower and a second pivot at half back will struggle to score points and that has been the trouble all season, and losing AJ and Dave Alstead at critical points in the season didnt help, its been the trouble all season and is down to poor recruitment BEFORE the season started.

Spot on. Last season we were light at half back, when Moran was injured, but didn't even sign a stand-off this pre-season. We were also light at centre when TKL was injured. (i.e. most of the time) Again, we didn't sign an established centre, this pre-season, either.
