First home game for ages, bit of entertainment and fun planned and it's peeing it down. You know why? They mentioned the word which guarantees rain............................................ BBQ

We spoke about this last year too, I think it was with Starbug.

I can't remember watching Leigh at home on a Sunday stood in the glorious sunshine for a good few years. One of our SL games was warm and sunny, think it was Leeds, but thats honestly all I can remember.

Nearest I can recall was at Doncaster the season before last, the first in the Keepmoat.

Other than that I would doubt anyone's mental stability if they told me 'this is why we play in summer you know'.

Quite a few sunny days in 05 and 06, the NR Cup Final was like playing in the desert in 2006!!

Hopefully after dinner the sun will break out!

I remember a warm period and the RFL allowing a break after 20 mins into each half to allow the players to take on water.

They come on with a flask and a hit water bottle now.

Pitch should be fine though, its been relayed and has excellent drainage!!!

Was disapointed myself when i got up and saw the rain, like has been said a shame for the club who have made an effort for the fun day lets hope it clears up.

Seeming as its an american themed day and some of the Ents might be washed out , what about half time american ladies mud wrestling on the pitch ?

it looks like its trying to brighten up and i can see slivers of blue sky so fingers crossed

For the Match i hope it absolutley p*sses it down we need all the hlp we can get and the worse the conditions HOPEFULLY the better chance we have it doesn't rain much in PNG
