have to say he showed some potential, but he's clearly not good enough, god if you can't hold a place down in our team then you clearly have a problem, i would get rid if he is out of contract at end of year.

Couldnt agree more just shows what a mess our club is when signing people like him when theres Meekin in the reserves better option than both always played well for the 1st team

Hobson has had a shocking season, but even I can't agree with this.

Cookson takes 2 days to get going, spits dummies out at every opportunity, Can't bust a paper bag, and goes quiet when someone gives him a crack.

At least when Hobson gets a crack, the chances are that he will brake their jaw!!

Meekin and Jackson are better prospects than Cookson.

Cookson had gone downhill IMO, due to whatever reasons, I know he's been injuried alot but I can see a long, strong future for both Meekin and Jackson at the club and I think Cookson has had chances in the past to apply himself correctly, IE get fitter and make the most of his first team chances and he just hasn't.

I suppose its what you want from your players , if it's just some grunt to make you 7/8 yards a play then fine we have some of those , If its somebody to cause a bit of aggro we have one of those

If it's somebody willing to try something a little different and play rugby instead of just being a battering ram , then we have Cooky

Simple statistical scenario , the team that offloads the most wins 9 out of 10 games
