Thought it night make me feel better to look at these....it hasn't! We need to find some home form with 5 of the last 8 at home, but that away game at Gateshead is a must win, especially with Gateshead finishing the season away at Doncaster.

I'd say we need at least 4 wins - Gateshead and Batley look capable of winning at least 3/4 games on current form.

Can anyone see more than 3? I think even that might be optimistic

Our form is going to be crucial and we know what that's been like this season! We should be winning at least 3 out of the 5 home games if we are to have a chance of playing rugby in this league next year.

I think it could be a lot closer than folks think............However we do need to get some results pretty soon..... Fax away against the leagues best side by a country mile would do.............

its an odd way to look at things..but we shouldn't forget that we can lose all of the rest of the matches and still pick up 8 bonus points (in theory).

Now there is a possibility that if the team improves a bit, without becoming world-beaters, they should be in with a shout of maybe 4 bonus points and a couple of wins..so thats 10 points. If Batley can tonk Barrow, could we maybe get within 12?

At this stage of the game, although things look bleak, its "in our own hands'. Although, what usually happens when this is the case is we knock on..

If we play on Friday like we did in the first half against Gateshead you will take the 3 points.

However, if we play like we did in the second half.......

Well my memory is going, but, one of them signed and gave more than 1 season contracts to Stewart, Maden, McConnell and another lad from Rochdale who someone told me had recently signed a two year contract with Manly.

Player of the year last year wasn't he? I think it's unfair to judge any of the players on this season as none of them have showed their best game.

Batley have the best HB pairing in Div 1 IMHO.


What would we bw like with Mennell and Handforth as our Half Backs?



We need to win 3 at least. Millward appointment (If it happens) is vital IMHO, as i feel we have lost the plot internally.
