Stuck at home cos my lift cried off and coach full.

I watched the game on Sky however and having watched the replays of the contraversial decsions I thought the ref got them all correct.

There was another incident refereed to the video ref when Catalans had a try disallowed which I thought should have been given cos of benefit of the doubt.

Cas,s last try also referred to the video ref, I would have disallowed cos of 2 obstructions.

Cas fans are usually good company but I thought they were wrong yesterday truthfully.

Saturday evening kick offs, sunshine, all day drinking.....

Its a good job they were playing a team with no travelling support or it could have been a lot worse



Why does it only seem to happen in Yorkshire these days ?

The atmosphere at the Reebok always used to be better for the Saturday evening Sultana games and some wondered why.

Its because many fans had spent 5 hours in the pub and were merrily oblivious to the garbage served up on the pitch

maybe we should play sat night games then

Always said that should be our main kick off time

can't disagree Sunday afternoons in summer is killing the game, I would even go down the Thur/Fri evening route leaving the weekend free for families (and caravans

Must admit, I'm certainly getting swayed by the Friday night argument.

Pretty good assesment. Only thing i would add is that if i were a Cas fan i too would have being annoyed by the constant holding down, offside and high tackles that went unpunished. It was as though Ian Smith had decided against applying these rules that night. Different res pull different things but they are ment to be full time and there should be some consistancy.

7.00pm saturdays May - sept, 3pm sundays Jan - May / Oct (we'll be lucky to see many Oct fixtures admittedly)


Sat fixtures = Not too late for familys or people going out on saturday night and not too early to spoil a lobby tea or those coming back from football matches.
Sun fixtures= Not much else to compete with on a winters afternoon and gives you the chance to get out for a bit of fresh air

I'd go for that.

I think its worth giving Saturday evenings a go.......
