Really? So should LISA members club together into groups of five and expect a say in the way the club is run and some perks?

Excellent news, lets just hope that potential backers can be persuaded to stump up more than £300 a year?

I'd like to think it's the start of fans having more of a say in things in, dare I say it, the same manner as a supporters trust (or at least a co-operative).

Would like to see a lot more transparency.

At the moment the statement - "the more you put in the more you get out" - is far from reassuring.

Based on this a few business men, putting in far less than LISA currently does, will have substantially more clout than LISA.

Honestly, I think this announcement, without making any reference to the contribution LISA has made over the years, quite simply stinks.

I'm sure that was not the intention, but is yet another example of pi$$ poor management.

I was saying that any business interest in the club can only be good for the club.Why do you not agree with that or should we get AT to fund leigh forever.
Lets sit back and watch our dwindling crowds pay for the club and lets see how many are left if we get relegated.

No high horse as I'm not a member of LISA. Just about checks and balances that's all.

If the contribution actually being made was £250 a month (which it may be as that has not been disclosed) I would agree this was great news.

re the last posts, what does it matter if it is only £25 per month, this is £25 more than the club had before and we need every penny we can get, I am sure that some will take it up and those who can will put in more that the £25 if they can afford it!

If you read it properly it says the minimum is 25 does not say that is what they are putting in a month.

Exactly, it doesn't matter what the club does it will never be good enough for some until we have money like Wire, as many fans as HKR

and play like Saints!!
