i thought gloating would be done by a team tha can class themselves in the same league, which your not at the minute, we lost a game wow, were still top of the league and may well end up staying there, and have a top chance of winning the play offs, which you havent.

Yes thats true,but we don't think our team is the greatest "by a mile " outside of SL,so thats why some will be pleased Fax lost today.

we think we are the best, the table doesnt lie we are top of it, so does that not mean that at the minute we are the best team in the league.

i admit there is a long way to go this season and anything can happen. but we have beaten everyone in the league bar sheffield. we have lot to cas by a point in the challenge cup, by 5 points from widnes in the northern rail semi, we have beaent widnes 2 from 3 this season. we have beaten you 1 from 1 this season, we have beaten Barrow 3 from 3 this season, surely seen as though we have beeten the other contenders to be the best in the league surely that at the minute makes us the best in the league at this time.

It'll be interesting to see how Fax take that defeat. Will they be able to get back on the horse?

Widnes Loan Rangers are a different side now and their progression with a couple of Super League recruits is there to see.

They will be a threat to any team for the duration of those loan spells, plus it seems that their injury plagued players seem to be getting on a lot more now.

Big win for Batley today in the league too - 70-6 over Donny.... It should make the coming weeks even more competitive....

What a pity that the RFL devalued the Championships and will now break it up with a 9s comp that if it was going to take place should have taken place as a fore-runner to all the fixtures.

Shame that Widnes won (hope Barra stuff 'em in the final) but this afternoon was a bloody fine game of rugby league, really enjoyable.

Absolute howler for Ben Black, made a break and was clean through with 30m to go but somehow managed to knock on at 22-20 up. Widnes go up the other end, kick a penalty and a drop goal and score late on through Thackray, Black must be pig sick.

Massive following from Widnes but didn't hear much from them, though I suppose that might have summat to do with being stood with the 'Fax fans were very vocal indeed.

Well i for one would like to see Widnes beat Barrow in the final ,like i said dont want to give the RFL anything to gloat about ,i want to see if Barrow are picked next franchise on the basis they have won nothing so come on Widnes i'm right behind you (well for this match anyway)
