Pownall is a cracking signing for the future.

At last they have started building for next year but i doubt we will hear any big names until they find out where we finish this year ,so i hope not everyone will be snapped up before we get a sniff

Joking aside, Nanyn is a cracking signing at this level. His record at this level suggest we have got one of the best around.

But we already have a young fullback in Mort, so is Mort on his way??????

Pownall is only 18 so won't feature much for the 1st team next season I would have thought. He is one of the best young fullbacks I've seen in a long time so the club have pulled a blinder with this one imho.

Cracking young player - I think he could play across the threequarter line as well as full back.

Without wishing to sound like a doom-mongerer, does anyone know if these contracts have a relegation clause in them, allowing them to move to other clubs or at least a drop in wages, should we go down?

A great signing for us for next year, lets hope we can convince more potential signings to come to us for next year.

So Pownall will only be coming next season? Gives him abit of time to play open age for the Miners before joining us and i'd presume get some experience in the reserves. As for Nanyn well we'll see how he does for the rest of this season but i'm sure he'll be a success.

heard yesterday from a current top 2 championship player, that he was in talks with leigh at moment but was weighing up his options,also reckons we ave signed the coyle bros, ??? allan (but avin talks with a sl team)from owdham and a ex leyth prop may also be returning from SL.
