Same here after following this club home n away since 1963 im pulling the plug i might go to the odd match but no more travel and until there is a major change in the way LEIGH CENTURIONS is run both on and off the field i wont be wasting my hard earned dosh watching dross..
Its been a terrible season watching the rubbish served up this year
i never in my wildest dreams thought this club would slide so far backwards
Moving into such a great stadium as the LSV we should have brought in a top coach ie Millward brought in a few class players and the people of Leigh & District would have responded instead we try to run a team on the cheap and its had major disasterous results resulting in crowds dwindling
team performances shocking WE ARE A JOKE THE SUPPORTERS OF LEIGH RLFC DESERVE MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN THIS.....
The directors of Leigh should have seen the signs early on this season when life long Leigh fans stopped coming to games...

Some folks are forgetting the teams we had when we we were struggling to win away games at Prescot Panthers....... Now they were BAD days.....

I've seen much worse teams than this one - 1994-96 being the poor ones and there were some dark days in the 70s (okay that was before my time).

Oh how we'd have liked to have seen Mort, Nanyn and Alstead out there today - but not to be....

Those 3 would,nt have made any differance the players are,nt strong enough and fitness levels are poor throughout the squad
Very poor in all departments speed, tactics tackling, the attack is non existance you only have to look at the points for n against to see how bad this team is and it is BAD..........................

I suppose the ball would have to reach the aforementioned players for them to make a difference!

I would say that Prescot then would be comparible to Workington / Blackpool today. I honestly don't think we could beat those comfortably at the moment. Our defence gets worse by the week and we have had hardly any attacking options near the opponents line all season except the little kicks. Believe me - THESE are BAD DAYS also.

prescot panthers would be going for a franchise by now spearheaded by the great geoff fletcher.
