Very average players
Some players not good enough for the standard of RL we need and should be got shut of asap

Rowley said on radio after match that he is going to ask more of the players ie the ones who have it easy .

I heard that too. It seems as though he is going down the Cullen route of things and re-shuffling the training schedules and training them more than they currently are.

Time we heard from Mr Thomas I think, nothing Rowley says there fills me with too much confidence. Ask more...isn't that from page one of the press manual for losing coaches...means jack to me

Well that`s a new one on me ,he`s the coach is`nt he so why does anyone have it easy?

i was alwys lead to believe that no person was bigger than the club any club this seems to go out of the window if your nams is rowley anyone else would have gone long ago what hold have the rowleys got on our club if someone doesnt see sense soon we will be back 20 yrs and were not far off that now

Thats how i took it , its obvious the training aspect of things needs a good overhaul .

Getting rid of the Rowleys is not the answer another coach could do naff all with what we have got its better players we need.

They can change training schedules all they like, but if players don't have pride in their own performance then it won't make a jot of difference.

a fan phoned GMR last week and said it all you build a house from foundations and we need to spend what money we have on an experienced coach and one for god sake "isnt a born and bred good lad leyther" it doesnt work!!!

But the coach can only work with the tools that are provided to him. In this case, quite literally.

I have to agree coach wise we need an experienced coach even if it is an aussie.

Rowley is inexperienced & with have Kelly I'm not sure what his job title is, but he legged it to union was out of the game for quite some time & strolls in thinking he could make a difference well it hasn't & it won't happen. Yet again we have people who don't seem to be able to get the best out of the players we have.

I can only see it going further down hill & quicker than we anticipated

We have players with NO SKILL, NO PACE, NO SIZE and NO BRAINS.
They are coached to play one man rugby, not support players, lie flat, over run the ball, no dummy runners and think for a few seconds before moving the ball away from the ptbt.

Didnt we announce we have spent as much on these as last years lot which included Doran, Moran, TKL, Wainwright, McAvoy - all of which would play for peanuts of course.

Today I felt so sorry for our 4 props who won that arm wrestle.

The play the ball is much to slow , the opposition knows who its going to before our players do, other teams manage quick plays whereas we look so cumbersome.

McConnell isnt a 9 at this level, Hatton could be and Watson is.

You spoilt this with mentioning Wainwight imo not to mention signing other players past their sell buy date.

Re Mcavoy i posted when he was signed that he was too slow and got slated for it.

It,s no good however talking about what we should have done what the club need to do now is somehow ensure we don,t finish in the bottom two.
