| We've obviously been too pre-occupied with other matters, to notice that we've got our good friend Ronnie Laughton tomorrow. So far, he's hammered us twice, on penalties, away from home, so it should be interesting to see what happens now we are the home team!
At least, at LSV prices, he's unlikely to get beer thrown at him, this time!

Prob be the same, he buys a new whistle for every game, as he has lost the pea out of it by the end of 79 mins

Again this obsession with the ref. Hasn't anybody realised that we get a high penalty count because our discipline is awful?
If we played well enough more often we'd win more games. Sure we've been screwed now and again but doesn't every supporter think the same about their team when they aren't winning every week?

Actually, based on our penalty counts this season, there is a trend - probably with other clubs too. On penalty counts, our 'discipline' at home, is fine, but away, it's terrible. Yet, curiously, the two away games where we 'won' the penalty count convincingly, were Toulouse and Halifax - and look what happened there! Also curiously, the two 'dreadfully indisciplined' away games, we had with Laughton, resulted in us winning both games.
What niggles me, about penalty counts, is that some refs. consider us very 'indisciplined' yet others have no problem with us.

| I'm going to have a whine here about refs and inconsistancy.
It's something I've noticed more this season...20m restarts.
At the start of the season, on many occasions we wanted a quick tap but refs were halting in because they were 'not ready'. Whether it was the defence or the ref, either way it was halted on a number of occasions.
At Fax in the first half they did it in the first half 3 or 4 times and caught us cold. The ref was still in the ingoal area huffing and puffing.
We did it at the start of the first half, and he called us back. there was nothing different than what he let go in the first half.
Now then, make your minds up. Its either a quick tap and bugger it, or its not.

The first fax 20m restart, the ref had his back to them and didn't even know the tap had been taken but let play contiue.
This does need sorting out because, as it stands, it is frustrating for everybody.
