The Leigh game which should have been played on Sunday May 10th will now be played on Wednesday August 19th KO 8pm.

I think all schools will be off for summer by then won't they? Should of tried for a weekend game if it was possible though.

Don't think there's any room in the fixture list for a weekend game. Not much choice really but to play it midweek.

There's a Premier Inn just up the East Lancs near Golbourne, it's only a 10 min drive to the ground (if that). Or there's the Inn Keepers Lodge in Lowton on the East Lancs (A580) which has a Toby Carvery attached. Thats less than a 5 minute drive to the ground.

At least it's not on TV so if we're playing okay towards the end of the season it could swell the crowd a little.

Got to put some kind of ticket offer together for this game to get the stragglers interested.

We play Toulouse at home, the previous Saturday, and 'Fax play Sheffield away, on the Sunday.

So, that's pretty fair on both teams, but less so on the poor programme editors, with two at home in five days!

Two home games in less than a week hey... we've gone over month without one in other parts of the season. What a farce!

On a positive note maybe the club can put a deal together to encourage people to go to both games for a knockdown price?!

After Gateshead, it's over a month until Sheffield, and if Doncaster can't fulfil their fixtures, it's another month before Toulouse!

I've made a suggestion, in Sunday's programme, about who should be organising the fixtures, but I don't think it will go down well, at Red Hall!!!

Which brainbox keeps coming up with these changes to fixtures? With this game being played mid-week, you can knock 400 to 500 off the gate.
And surely with so few teams in the league, it must be possible to arrange fixtures on home one week and away the next basis.

Well hardly any of our "bigger" games at home will have been on Sunday which is a disgrace really. People find it much harder to go to the games mid week especially away fans.

Yip, our two biggest home league games (out of a big fat juicy 10), both moved to midweek.

No worries though, the travelling masses from Gateshead and Toulouse will make up for it.

On Halifax 'official' website. Not that this means a lot, after we announced Castle's signing, prematurely, on our 'official' site! And 'Fax 'official' site was previously adamant that the game was to be played on May 13th - the day before we played Widnes!!

I'ts just been pointed out to me, by a 'Fax fan, that their Sunday game with Sheffield, has been moved to the previous Thursday, so they get almost a week's rest!

Outsmarted again!!! (and it's supposed to be our home game)

Its great to have people in charge who know what they are doing!
