I think Ive accidently put my laptop in sleep mode how do I get out of it? In the manual it doesnt say?

A simple re-boot usually does the trick.

However...to disable sleep mode

if you operating system is windows xp

start>run>cmd

then type: 'shutdown -a' and press enter..

if your operating system is windows vista

start>cmd

then type: 'shutdown /a' and press enter

It wont turn on at all so i cant do anything, the indicator light is flashing orange thats all.

ITs vista and i cant get it on to press start

Im not PC savvy but have you tried alt+crtl + delete?

Also, have you tried pressing the on/off button for a couple of seconds to turn the comp off and tried turning it back on?

Try holding down the on/off power button for a few seconds until light goes out.
if it doesn't work -
Unplug the mains lead, then take out battery, then put battery back in etc should do the trick.

ONly thing Ive not tried out of all them is taking out the battery I ll try that

Yes but what would we do without our pc's? I think back to before I had one, they've certainly made life easier along with the internet. Before pc's I used pens and paper, bought rolls of film for my camera, taped my records onto cassettes for my walkman, sent letters through the post, ordered tickets over the phone, walked to the bank to do my banking, went to the shops for my cd's etc, sold my second hand goods in mooch around...yes I actually spoke to people...oh the good old days!!!
