Seems to be a bit picky to grumble after an excellent night ........but here goes!

There seem to be some problems with the much praised toilets! The ones in the South side of the West stand were awash when I arrived last night (though it seemed to have drained away later!). One of the 2 hand driers in there has not worked for at least a month.

Also, was a bit surprised to get a soaking sitting in the fifth row back of a covered stadium.

Also the entry at the turnstiles was chaotic. The 2 separate queues for season tickets and others failed completely and I was waved through without my season ticket being swiped.


Picky, I know, but still disappointing.

Yes it did seem a bit unusual.....usually got soaked under the Tommy Sale stand which is on the 'opposite' side.

Id just like to say the playing surface is top clas and the floodlighting is brilliant,every inch of the stadium is lit up and visibility of the pitch is fantastic.

These are all key issues and cost of drinks,entrance to Legends Bar and blocked tiolets can be changed or fixed,all in all I'm very happy with the LSV.

I agree too, it is a fantastic stadum but it is disappointing if it is not going to be properly maintained.

Turnstile situation was a mess once again but it strangely felt really good to be stuck in traffic because that many were going to the game..took me 25 minutes to get to the ground from near Hilton Park, and I nabbed one of the last few spaces on the North Stand car park



Superb atmosphere though, was great to hear the crowd really get behind the players, even after making mistakes in the second half.

Yes I agree about the traffic. It was bad from the Lowton direction too!

Must have been all those Widnes fans!

I was hoping they were all Leythers to be honest, and there's little evidence they were Widnes fans judging by how sp the South Stand was

That's the problem with 'cantilever' roof stands that angle up towards the pitch. I've been soaked near the back at Old Trafford, too! (before they added the new tier)

it all depends on the wind direction and strength the only way to stop any or all stands in not getting wet is a full total covered roof. not going to happen

Maybe if we'ed had the original design of roof it would have been better
