Best performance by him since re-joining us IMO.

Would have been topped of if he had gone the length of the field with that break he made - but he never looked like he was going to get there.

Him and Alstead could make a cracking pairing given time to build on it.

Oh i wish he could have made it running towards us and all.

Not been a fan of Madens so far this season............but tonight the lad made me eat my words and long may it continue.

I have been one of Madens biggest critics on here and at the matches but last night he was TOP DRAWER and thats no exaggeration. Running, tackling, enthusiasm on and off the ball, courage, chasing, dummy half running, goaline clear ups, what more can I say.

i was impressed with him tonight. looked dangerous everytime had the ball.

Really stepped up to the plate last night, top performance.

Yep my MOM too! He was superb yesterday! He gained some priceless yards to get us away from difficult situations near our own line! A real grafters performance gave 110%

Great game from Steve, he really got the crowd and team going at times with his runs. He ran at Webster quite a bit with some joy yesterday, I think we scored a try off a break that he made running over Webster.

Got to disagree with a lot pf peolple on here Watson had a decent game doing what a decent half shoud do...however his kicks still do not gain us any advantage they are floated straight to the opposition they dont break stride and are straight on attack ...armistead kicked better along the floor and make them turn....agree with others on here HE doesnt have to do everything..

and yes i know last comment on wrong thread but you get my point
